I am so excited that my antlers were featured in COWGIRL Magazine this month!   

Fine Line Update

We started an Etsy store for the magazine a few weeks ago.  You can get all four issues (covers pictured below), which you can still get on our website too.

And you can get these awesome limited edition fine art prints that we made.  Check it out!  The prints are beautiful and we are so proud of how they turned out.

On the New York Times

This may be the closest I ever come to making it on the New York Times website (although I hope not!).  One of my antlers was in a photo that was part of a story about Michele Varian, the store I sell my antlers at in NYC.  The photo is below, but you can see the full write up HERE.

In other news, I will be selling antlers (along side the magazine) at Art vs. Craft this year on November 26th.  Super excited!

Installation in Chicago

 Last weekend, I went to Chicago with Jessica Steeber (my Fine Line partner) and we completed an installation at the boutique, Workshop.  The owner, Annie, is a huge Fine Line fan, and we are huge fans of hers as well!  Unfortunately, the Workshop will be closing its doors in August and combining forces with another store called Post 27.  The reception for our installation will be August 12th.  It will also be the closing party for the store AND we will be selling magazines.  Lots of fun stuff!

About two months ago I started selling hand-painted deer antlers on Etsy.  It has been going really well. Here are some examples of what I've been making:

New Issues

I've got to get better at updating this blog.  Since my last post, we have release two issues of Fine Line Magazine.

Issue Two: Act Accordingly was released on February 25th.

Issue Three: This Is A Theory was released on May 27th.

Our next issue, titled Subject to Change, will be out on August 19th with an open reception at Sky High Gallery.

Slow Start, Long Beginnings

This is a collaborative show I did with Jessica Steeber and Karin Haas at the Walker's Point Center for the Arts in Milwaukee.  The show ran from February 4th to March 19th, 2011.
